Barry
M. Kaufman was born in Brooklyn, NY. Upon completing his B.S.
Degree in Political Science at St. John's University, NY in
1988, he moved to Florida and earned his Juris Doctorate Degree
at Nova Law School in 1991. Mr. Kaufman also served as a law
enforcement officer with the N.Y.P.D. for two years.
Presently, Barry M. Kaufman is the President of Barry M. Kaufman,
P.A., Attorney at Law. He has been practicing criminal law for
11 years. In that span, Mr. Kaufman has represented clients
in more than 10,000 cases. Mr. Kaufman is an active attorney
in good standing, and is licensed to practice law in a multitude
of jurisdictions. He has been admitted to practice in Florida
since (1992), New Jersey (1992), and U.S. District Court - Southern
District of Florida (1992). Since 1993, Mr. Kaufman has been
granted membership and is an active member in the American Bar
Assoc., the Broward County Bar Assoc., Federal Bar Assoc., American
Trial Lawyers Assoc., & the National Assoc. of Criminal
Defense Lawyers. In 1995, he was selected as an honored member
of the International Who's Who of Professionals. Currently,
Mr. Kaufman's Law Firm employs about a dozen individuals. Counting
attorneys aligned with his Law Firm, Mr. Kaufman can boast over
75 years of legal experience amongst his crew.
